Xbox Kinect Console - Microsoft's Next Gen Motion Gaming Console!

Gaming fans who have been closely following Microsoft's "Project Natal" might have heard it was recently given an official name - Xbox Kinect. This new gaming device from Microsoft will revolutionize the way we play video games. This console will use a revolutionary 3D camera and gesture recognition software that will transport gamers into an innovative gaming globe, by mimicking their physical actions within the real world, which will then transport right to the game. With this console, no longer will we play our games seated on the couch. Gamers will run, jump, duck and swing their whole bodies! Microsoft made this official annoucement at the Kinect's Debut in E3 Los Angeles.

Aside from the official launch from the name, Microsoft is keeping hush on all other details such as price and release date to improve anticipation for its new device. Nevertheless, anothing thing to note is that the Kinect is not a standalone device but will instead, require to become plugged to the Xbox 360. This is certainly good news for people who already have the current Xbox but is bad news for people who don't as it will neccessitate spending much more on purchasing the Xbox too.

Even though Microsoft kept us within the dark about pricing, it's estimated that the Kinect will be priced at around $50 to $200. Executives from gaming businesses have also shared that an approximate quantity of 15 titles will be available upon the release from the game come this November.

If you're thinking that the Kinect is going to be just one more Wii, then you're dead wrong. The video game industry is very excited about the launch from the Kinect - with various game manufacturers already having various games within the works.
