Warlock Guide - You'll Be Level Cap Very Quickly With This WoW Level Guide

by Garrett Mickley

Warlocks are simple to level. Not only do they get a pet to help them but they also have a wide range of damage, fear and AoE spells allowing them to level up quickly. The Life Tap spell helps to convert health into mana allowing you to continue casting without breaks, and then the Drain Life spell refills your lost health, if necessary. Most of the time, however, you won't need this spell because you can use fear or your pet will take the brunt of the damage allowing you to restore life while you fight. Read the rest of this World Of Warcraft warlock guide for more info.

Two bonus abilities you learn are Create Healthstone and Create Soulstone. A Soulstone will resurrect you if you are to die during a fight while the Healthstone will restore your health if you are getting low.

Your best bet as a Warlock is to use the Affliction talent tree until at least level 70. Read on for more from my World Of Warcraft leveling guide.

Learning new spells and enhancing your DoT spells are simple things to do with this talent tree. Improving your Curse of Agony starts you off with this tree. If you want to increase your mana Suppression and Improved Drain Soul will achieve that. Soul Siphon and Improved Life Tap will keep your mana levels from depleting as quickly.

Amplify Curse and Fel Concentration will increase your casting speed and ability. Your range and spell damage will be also be increased. The Curse of Exhaustion is a good choice if you are part of a PvP realm. You will also get Siphon Life and Shadow Mastery.

If you improve your Felhunter then you will also improve your Dark Pact. Two good spells for damage are Unstable Affliction and Haunt.

After you get to Northrend it's a good idea to switch your talent tree to a Demonology - Affliction mix.

Basically this mix is about having Siphon Life and Felguard. The DoT's a Warlock has will continue to give you good damage while you boost your Demon Pets. A bonus of having your Affliction tree in the mix is the health gains offered which, as stated previously, allows you to convert mana so there is virtually no down time.

The Demonology build eats up too much mana to level you quickly which is why is should be added second. The Affliction tree though is ideal for conserving your mana and dealing damage. You can speed up the leveling process with Affliction by putting your DoT's on multiple mobs. As you get higher in level and your builds increase, your survival rate will do the same. The Felguard's ability to tank mobs with their Cleave while you use your DoT spells will add to the amount of damage you cause. There's no better World Of Warcraft guide than at the Ultimate World Of Warcraft Guide site. There's no better undead warlock guide out there.
